Mark Miller & Miyuki Tachibana

M. Miller Skiwear

The company tag line, “The fusion of Luxury, Fashion, and Technology” accurately describes the Made in the U.S.A. products of M. Miller Luxury Outerwear.  With Mark Miller and his wife and business partner, Miyuki Tachibana, at the helm, the Boston based company designs and manufactures functional fashion for both on the ski slopes or relaxing in the resort.

From boots to hats, vests to walking coats, the duo strives to make each item in their collection practical in terms of active usage, form flattering for the wearer, and durable for long term wear.  Sold worldwide, the brand includes three distinct lines:  the Alpine Heritage (vintage inspired with retro looking ski patches), the Ski Classic (traditional ski fashions for men and women), and the Lux Sport line (opulent skiwear with Swarovski embellishments and luxurious fur trims).

Though the fashion is often retro inspired, make no mistake, the materials are distinctly high tech.  To provide the best possible cold-weather fashion, garments are created from Thinsulate® liners, Canadian goose down fillers, Swiss made aerospace fabrics for outer shells, along with the impressive, Microtech 19 fabric which offers superb breathability due to a unique dot lamination process.

The attention to detailed design and utilizing the best materials, has led the M. Miller Luxury Outerwear company to expand their market into better boutiques and specialty shops in over 275 countries on four continents.  For the 2013/14 season, York Furrier is thrilled to offer clients who enjoy winter travel to Vail, Aspen or Park City this collection of stylish ski wear.
