A self-taught fashion designer, Peach Carr, burst onto the fashion scene with her appearances on Season 8 and Season 2 All Stars of PROJECT RUNWAY. During her time on the show, the Lake Forest native’s design esthetic was dubbed, “Country Club Chic” by Tim Gunn, who challenged her to further develop her brand and collection.
Taking inspiration from the music and vibe of the 60’s and 70’s during her youth, Peach designs chic fashions that are also super comfortable to wear. Her fashion designs work for the woman on the go and easily fit a size two up to a fourteen. Her day to evening creations are crafted by women in Chicago and offer low maintenance care as they are machine washable – even the gowns. One of her most notable creations is the Swarovski crystal embellished gown she sent down the runway at the annual St. Jude Hospital’s annual fund raising “Dream a Little Dream” fashion show. Included in her fan base are numerous North Shore women, along with Dina Manzo (Real Housewives of New Jersey), Alex McCord (Real Housewives of New York), Linda Yu (ABC-7 News), and Nora Dunn (Saturday Night Live).
