Spotlight on Fur . . . Celebrity Moments of 2015

December 18th, 2015

With 2016 right around the corner, let’s look back at this year’s fabulous fur moments for 2015 … hard to choose, there were so many! Beyond street chic, all year long, fur coats were spotted on Tinseltown’s celebrity stars, strolling the catwalk, featured on magazine covers, and striking a pose at red carpet events. Here are our top fur picks!

Bella and Gigi Hadid. America’s newest and sweetest model sisters rocked fur coats on the cover of V Magazine earlier this year. The powerhouse family is making waves, and we LOVE seeing young starlets in the furry fluff stuff. Sport the look (o.k. with a LOT more clothing!) by opting for a fox or mink bolero, shrug, stole or wrap.

Charli XCX. Up and coming British pop star Charli XCX amped up her wow factor at this year’s Grammy Awards, and it definitely paid off! The light pink fur wrap paired with a metallic Moschino white pantsuit is feminine and cute, yet oh so classic. (photo: Peoplechoice.com)

Kate Moss. The long-time British model dons high fashion like no one else, and she was all glam once again on the April cover of W Magazine. Moss is a vision wrapped in Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring Summer 2015. A perfect iconic fur moment! (photos: Elliesaab.tumblr.com)

Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj. America’s fave female songbirds, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj, were pretty in pink for their ultra-fabulous “Feeling Myself” music video. Minaj’s Chloe jacket matched perfectly with Beyoncé’s Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall coat. Note to readers: Don’t try this coat-in-kiddie-pool trick at home!  Sass up your style like the R&B queens with our Michael Kors designed Geranium Mink Pullover. This ultra girly piece is both bold, beautiful and pretty in pink. (photo: Mtv.com)

Rihanna. She epitomized luxury at the 2015 Met Gala. The Chinese Couture dress, called “Magnificent Gold,” designed by Guo Pei took two years to make. Rihanna has spoken highly of the look – yards of gorgeous fabric and luxe fox trim – as did the fashion world. This regal look is over the top in the best of ways! (photo: vanityfair.com)
