Style Trends to Embrace For 2015

It’s always fun to follow fashion week (and do we ever!) for the latest styles of the season. It’s another to translate those looks into your everyday wardrobe. This is what makes some of our favorite designers, like Carolina Herrera and Zac Posen so amazing. They set runway trends AND seamlessly design collections that fit YOU and your LIFESTYLE . Here are a few of our favorite up-and-coming trends, plus the wonderful ways to make them your own!

Magnificent Marsala. Every year, Pantone, a world-renowned authority on color, releases their pick for color of the year. For 2015, the company gave the title to Marsala, which it describes as a “subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to embracing its warmth.” Similar in hue is this lamb leather walking coat and a lamb leather zip up jacket with detachable sleeves that transforms into a vest. The color is perfect for women who prefer neutrals but want to explore something new!

Wonderful White: For every woman who can appreciate clean, simple looks that are easy to pull together, 2015 is your year! Expect to see a lot of white ... on white ... on white. Layering a basic color creates a streamlined look with instant panache. While the runways were full of stark whites, we’re also loving subtle shades of cream, beige and light grey. For example, we love this fox trimmed cashmere cape paired with casual colored jeans and funky booties!

Fresh Floral. Year after year, designers, fashion magazines and retailers declare their love for the floral trend ... which at this point is more of a classic staple than a passing fad. And we’re OK with that! This year it’s all about BIG and bold. Think large-scale prints, like this Michael Kors top and skirt. If you’re looking for a more demure look, keep the floral and background similar in color. In fur, this season's designs bloomed with fun floral creations. In particular, fur designer, Zuki, paired natural red fox with flowers created from sheared beaver for his take on the floral trend.

Hot Handbags: This year you’ll see less over-the-top, dark drama and more things fun and flirty. The giant over-the-shoulder neutral leather bag is being replaced by short, stout handles and vibrant wearable art. We love this enamel coated, calfskin leather handbag with a puzzle pattern from the Beverly Hills Collection. Hometown designer turned Project Runway contestant, Peach Carr, is making waves in our handbag collection with her latest designs inspired by New Yorker Cartoons. Several size and style options with unique closures are perfect as great gifts or to keep!
