A Big Win for Girls in the Game at York Furrier

THANK YOU to all who made the Girls in the Game FUNdraiser such a success! York Furrier has partnered with various philanthropies since 1931 to give back to the surrounding community and truly deserving organizations.

On October 18, 2018, York Furrier held an evening of sipping, tasting and shopping to support Girls in the Game - an organization committed to helping girls find their voice and leadership skills through sports programs.

The evening, hosted by Peggy Kusinski (NBC5Chicago Sportscaster and GITG Board Member), raised over $7500 for Girls in the Game. The event included cocktails provided by Tannins Wine Bar in Elmhurst, as well as tasting bites from Chef Marco Conte of Marco's Table & Events in Elmhurst. Attendees were able to view informal modeling of the newest fur trends, while trying on a few of their favorite items in the store. Grand and Regular Raffles were held, and everyone went home with a packed swag bag.

York Furrier will continue to donate a portion of sales through 12/31/2018 at 3PM Central when GIRLS IN THE GAME is mentioned!
